Pluto is a Planet vs Pluto isn't a Planet

Finally a really intelligent topic. :-)
I suppose we have to accept the fact that we just started discovering our solar system and don't know much about it.

Really the question is: 8 Planets vs. 200+ Planets. Or perhaps Pluto is the 9th Planet vs. Pluto is the first object of whole new class of objects. There are more points for being first of something than 9th of something.

If pluto is a planet then there are several other iceballs in our Galaxy that would have to be given planet status too.

It's a planet dammit.
