I think the new Trek prequel will be putting the final nail in the Star Wars coffin. Show how a prequel should be done. Thus far, non-trek fans have become trek fans, and trekkies/trekkers feel that its awesome.

I think it's rather telling that it's 3 (or if we Have to admit it, 6) movies versus easily that many movies plus years and years of episodes, and the 3(or 6) movies is still in the lead

The force is for chumps. Star Trek captains use their sexual powers to subdue their enemies. Luke hadn't even gone through puberty by the time ROTJ was over.

I like Star Trek. I watched the original, TNG, and Voyager. I think it's a wonderful show. But I love Star Wars. Hell, I love IV, V, and VI so much that I kind of enjoy I, II, and III. *That's love*.

This is a tough one. I only recently started getting into Star Trek, but I can see there's lots of potential for varied story lines. But Star Wars' sheer epicness is tough be beat.

TNG was a huge part of my childhood. The series' that launched after TNG (Deep Space 9, etc..) suffer from a similar fate that the second set of Star Wars films did. The original Star Wars films were incredible, but I just can't get into the most recent t

Star Wars, hands down. I think star trek can be too slow, where as there is alot more involvement in Star Wars, and the animals alone in Star Wars beats out Star Trek
